Suyen Encarnacion Pell - Founder, President

Ms. Pell has more than 19 years of extensive experience in natural gas and other energy related products.  She is responsible for Anahau's overall strategies and business development. 

Before launching Anahau Energy, Ms. Pell was the Chief Trading Officer and served as a keymember of the executive committee of Cook Inlet Energy Supply, a multibillion-dollar company that was acquired in 2005 by Macquarie Bank Limited, Australia.  Ms. Pell helped turn Cook Inlet Energy Supply from start-up into a successful $3-billion business.  She was responsible for the core business of building and managing productive natural gas operations, which included asset evaluation and optimization, risk management, physical and financial trading, deal structuring, contracts and operations, and the development of customer relationships across North America.  She pioneered several storage and transportation assets, developed long-term structured deals, and hedging strategies, earning a place as one of the top producing traders from1992 to 2002, when she was promoted to Chief Trading Officer.  She led all regional trading desks and adapted quickly to several energy crises whilegenerating consistent revenue and producing the highest-level gross profit inthe history of Cook Inlet.  Ms. Pell is a hands-on leader with innovative problem-solving skills.  Her expertise in the energy industry, combined with her commitment to the highest level of customer service has greatly contributed to Anahau's success.

Ms. Pell is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and continued her education at the UCLA Anderson School and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management for the Advanced Executive Business Management program. Ms. Pell is a member and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Council of Minorities in Energy located in Washington D. C.

Theresa Encarnacion Gendron - Founder, Vice President

Ms. Gendron has 15 years of combined trading, marketing, and management experience in natural gas and power.  She oversees Anahau's daily  marketing and trading operations. 

Prior to founding Anahau, Ms. Gendron led the midcontinent trading team at Cook Inlet Energy, where she was also a key member of the executive committee. She gained a reputation as a reliable leader, capable of organizing ground-up projects and making them a profitable success. Ms. Gendron started as a natural gas trader in the West region and quickly became one of the top revenue-producing traders and market makers. The COO handpicked her to help develop the power trading desk, and she was then tapped to develop the midcontinent trading desk. Under her leadership, the trading desk transacted close to 1 Bcf daily within a year, and exceeded profit goals every year. Her responsibilities included managing the trade book, formulating physical and financial trading strategies, evaluating storage and transportation opportunities, expanding the customer base, and increasing revenue and trade volume. Along with her enthusiasm and drive, she brings strong relationships with utilities, producers, energy marketing companies, and trading companies.

Ms. Gendron has a bachelor's degree in finance from California State University, Long Beach.
