ANAHAU ORIGINS :

In honor of the founder’s heritage, the name Anahau is derived from the Filipino word "Anahaw" (ana-how) and is the national leaf of the Philippines . The Anahaw leaf or Livistonia Rotundifolia as it is known in Latin, is a very common symbol in the Philippines and is often used in awards and medals to symbolize high achievement, strength, and loyalty.

The Anahaw leaf features a large, round outline and is glossy green in color. It expands majestically from the center of the chute and opens to a full crest divided shallowly at the ends and is considered one of the most beautiful plant species in the Philippines .

In addition to its beauty, the Anahaw leaf is extremely versatile. Indigenous groups in the Philippines have found many uses for the leaf from roofing material to the making of fans and hats, however the core function of the Anahaw leaf will always be securing, storing, and converting energy by means of photosynthesis to help plants grow and thrive.

The founders of Anahau Energy are captivated by the idea that a leaf that is light and fragile can play such a crucial and important role in the creation and management of energy. The role of the Anahaw leaf is similar to Anahau Energy’s role in the field of energy. Anahau Energy uses its vast experience in the natural gas marketplace to provide innovative solutions for today’s energy trading needs and in so doing, helps its clients radiate growth and profit.
